Cassette Beasts – Mobile Version FAQ

With the release of Cassette Beasts on mobile devices, we’ve put together an FAQ to answer questions regarding this new release of the game that will hopefully answer any questions you have!

Where can I get Cassette Beasts on mobile?

It is available on iOS here.
Due to an issue with Cassette Beasts on the Google Play store, we have deactivated the Android version until a new patch is approved. We’ll let everyone know as soon as we’re back up and running on Android! This issue has not affected players on iOS devices.

How much does it cost? Are there any IAPs (in-app purchases)?

The game has a free demo period, after which the full game must be purchased. There are two DLCs available as well – the costs for each are:
Full Game: Android 5.99 USD/5.99 £ – iOS 6.99 USD/6.99 £
Cosplay Pack DLC: Android .99 USD/.79 £ – iOS .99 USD/.99 £
Pier of the Unknown DLC: Android 2.99 USD/2.59 £ – iOS 2.99 USD/2.99 £

(Regional prices my vary)

There are no further in-game currencies or IAPs.

What devices are supported?

iOS:
As listed on the store page we do not support the following devices due to device-specific RAM restrictions:
• Standard model iPhone 12 and 13, iPhone XS, XR, iPhone SE 2nd gen, iPad 7th, 8th and 9th generations and iPad mini 5th gen.
• All iPhone Pro versions and iPad Pro versions are supported in full.
If you have a model that isn’t on that list and you’re still experiencing issues, please send a crash report to Cassette Beasts‘ publisher Raw Fury, which you can do so here.

Android:
All Android models are supported, though older models are likely to experience lower performance or unforeseen issues.

What version of the game is it? Does it have multiplayer?

Cassette Beasts mobile is up to parity with Version 1.5 of the regular version of the game. It does not include the online Multiplayer Update (Version 1.6) – or later updates – that the PC and console versions have.

Due to the challenges of porting a game like Cassette Beasts to mobile platforms, we cannot guarantee at this time that multiplayer will come to the mobile version.

Is there cross-save progression?

Unfortunately, due to the version differences, cross-save between the mobile and PC/console versions of the game is not supported.

I am having issues with crashes/bugs!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! There are a few known issues from the game’s launch that the porting team are aware of. For us to get more information, please send a crash or bug report to the Raw Fury helpdesk here.
